This project encompassed the comprehensive maintenance of wellhead loop systems and the fabrication of platform structures within the NAOC (Nigerian Agip Oil Company) land operational area. Executed under strict NAOC/Agip engineering and HSE standards, the scope required NEC Technical to deploy experienced field engineers, certified welders, and structural fabricators to deliver works that directly support the integrity and continued productivity of Agip's onshore hydrocarbon production assets.

Working Process

A structured, phased approach was adopted to manage both the maintenance and fabrication workstreams simultaneously without disrupting Agip's ongoing production operations.

Site Survey & Engineering Review

Comprehensive site surveys were conducted across the wellhead loop network to assess existing conditions, identify maintenance priorities, and finalize platform fabrication drawings to NAOC specifications.

Step

Material Procurement & Workshop Fabrication

Structural steel components and pipeline materials were procured to approved specifications. Platform structures were pre-fabricated in the workshop to maximize quality control before field installation.

Step

Field Maintenance
& Installation

Wellhead loop maintenance activities and pre-fabricated platform installation were executed in the field by NEC Technical's certified technicians, with continuous HSE supervision and NAOC QA oversight.

Step

Testing, Certification & Handover

All completed works underwent pressure testing, structural inspection, and regulatory certification before formal documentation and handover to the NAOC client team.
